We are excited to share one of the most ambitious steps in the journey of Renew Uganda Initiative: Renew University, or “Renew U.”

A university for Christian educators

Renew U is being developed as a 3-year accredited teacher-training university and pedagogical hub. Its purpose is to form exceptional Christian educators whose minds are renewed and hearts are transformed by Christ (Romans 12:2).

What will make Renew U different

Built on a holistic biblical worldview, Renew U will focus on:

  • Technological integration relevant to today’s schools and industries
  • Future-thinking innovation that prepares educators for a changing world
  • Competency-based application, so learning shows up in real classrooms
  • International collaboration with educators and institutions around the world

Building on what works

Renew U will build on the foundations laid by our Emerging Christian Educator Program and our network of Renewal Gatherings, bringing mentorship, discipleship and professional excellence together in a full degree pathway.

Partner with us

A university is built by many hands. We are looking for academic partners, curriculum experts, churches, foundations and donors who share this vision. If that’s you, start a partnership conversation or invest in Renew U.

“The complete Biblical Transformation of Uganda through Christian education.” That is our vision, and Renew U is a key part of reaching it.
